Ultra Folic Acid

Ultra Folic Acid by Vitabiotics is formulated with 400µg of folic acid, carefully balanced with 5µg of vitamin B12. Folic acid, also known as folate or vitamin B9, is important before and during pregnancy, as well as for men and women of all ages for overall well-being.

Folic acid supplements increase the level of folate in a woman's body before and during pregnancy. Low folate levels are a risk factor for the development of neural tube defects in the developing fetus.
Folic acid can also be used throughout pregnancy, as it contributes to the growth of maternal tissues during pregnancy.
Vitamin B12 plays a role in cell division and contributes to the normal formation of red blood cells.

On the other hand, folic acid and vitamin B12 contribute to the normal functioning of the immune system.
Vitamin B12 also contributes to normal energy release and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

For women of childbearing age, the beneficial effect is achieved with a folic acid supplement of 400µg per day for at least one month before and up to three months after conception.

1 tablet per day, with the main meal

Swallow with water or a cold drink.
It should not be chewed.
Do not exceed the recommended dose.
Take only on a full stomach.

There is no need for an additional multivitamin.
