Xerosis (the scientific name for dry skin) occurs when the water content in the stratum corneum is lower than normal. It can result in a thickening of the stratum corneum, i.e. cell turnover that is too fast (-28 days), which does not allow the natural elimination process to keep up. Aging, congenital sensitivity, medication treatments, hormonal changes or external factors (cold, dry weather, excessive hygiene, etc.) further promote it. As a result, the skin becomes rough, tight and scales form that accumulate on the surface, giving the skin a cracked appearance, also known as crocodile skin.

XERIAL 10 Lotion, a formula concentrated in patented keratolytic and emollient active ingredients for smooth, calm and sustainably hydrated skin.

Patented SVR formula containing:

-10% pure urea: softens and removes dead cells, intensely moisturizes

-Panthenol: a reference molecule in dermatology, soothes and hydrates

-Aquaporins: naturally present in the body, they promote hydration by improving the hydrating capacity of glycerin.

85% natural ingredients rich in shea butter and coconut oil and a delicate fragrance.

Apply once or twice a day to the body. Under the advice of a healthcare professional, it can be used as an adjunct to a drying treatment.
