Snup D Nasal Spray

Nasal spray solution containing the active ingredientsxylometazoline hydrochloridewhich has a vasoconstrictor effect, reducing swelling of the nasal mucosa due to congestion anddexpanthenol,a derivative of pantothenic acid which accelerates wound healing and protects mucous membranes.

Snup D 1m/ml+50 mg/ml is used for:

-reducing the feeling of nasal congestion during inflammation of the nasal mucosa (rhinitis).
-improving the healing of nasal mucosa damage
-alleviation of non-allergic inflammation of the nasal mucosa (vasomotor rhinitis)
-treatment of breathing difficulties after nose surgery

Snup® is indicated for use in children over 12 years of age and adults.

notUse Snup®:
• if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to xylometazoline hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients of Snup®.
• if you have a chronic form of dry mouth (rintti sicca)after surgical removal of the pineal gland through the nose (transphenoidal hypophysectomy) or other surgical interventions on the outer layer (dura mater) of the brain.
• in children under 12 years old

Long-term use of nasal decongestants can result in chronic swelling and thinning of the nasal mucosa.

1 spray in each nostril, 1 to 3 times a day.


Before first use, spray at least five times into the air until a uniform mist forms. For subsequent uses, the nasal spray is ready for immediate use.

This should be repeated each time if the product has not been used for several days:
- 4-14 days of absence: 1 spray in the air
- more than 14 days of absence: 5 sprays in the air

Important:
- Clean the spray head with a clean, soft cloth immediately after use and replace the cap.
- For hygienic reasons and to avoid infection, the nasal spray should only be used by one person.
- Patients with chronic rhinitis should use this medication only under medical supervision due to the risk of atrophy of the nasal mucosa.
